Father of Medical Marijuana in California Dies At 72

Dennis Peron a cannabis activist died in a San Francisco Hospital on Saturday January 27th, 2018.  In the early 90’s he founded the first public marijuana dispensary.  His first encounter with marijuana was in the late 60’s when he was serving in Vietnam.

Over the years he was arrested several times and was even shot in the leg once.  This medical marijuana pioneer will be missed.
